Achieving positive outcomes for children in their early years depends on all of us – parents, services, governments and the whole community working together. Find out how your Early Years Networks and Local Government can work together to ensure children thrive in their communities.

This workshop, presented in partnership by The WA Local Government Association (WALGA) and WACOSS, will show you how.
Designed for members of Networks and local government employees, this one day interactive workshop will provide an overview of the drivers for Local Government strategy; explore the policy and planning frameworks and decision making process for Local Government.

The workshop will also give you:

 An understanding of the importance of the early years in your community.
 Ideas for developing partnerships between Networks and Local governments
 An Understanding of how local government plans for community outcomes and how each operates differently.
 Learn innovative ways of contributing to improved outcomes for young children
